Kayla's Project

Here is the link to my blog. I sent home a letter last night about the blog, so there is not much action yet.   One of my classroom jobs for my students is to reflect on what they learned that day and write it down. Then, at the end of the week, they will write (hand write for now) a "post" that will go on the blog. I also have "media" as a classroom job. This student will be in charge of taking pictures. I am hoping once I start posting students' photos and pieces of writing, more parents will check it out!

Let me know what you think! Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated! :)

  1. Hey don't forget to put the html code that removes the menu header... in your blog (in settings go to Template the edit html and paste it at very bottom (leave the /html at very end. you can get the code in this blog)

Good setup post. Next post you will show me what a student is doing to use your transparency, or interact with your reverse teaching. Most likely you will have more stuff put in and they will start using. I expect you to find stuff that does or doesn't work... or completely new. Would be nice to get some student feedback. It is going to be about how you are implementing your ideas. Please make sure you have commented on each chapter has the others have posted them on the books (you can retroactively post if you missed one) and PLEASE comment on your classmates Project Proposal Post (we have down 2 so far Proposal and Setup) If I can help just ask

  2. Kayla-- I like that you have linked your daily schedule and the reading log to your blog as well as the calendar. Parents and students will love seeing their work and pictures on the blog, but having some of those organization/house keeping documents available to everyone will really help with your transparency goal.
